Year 1

Our entry level course offering is close to an Intermediate Islamic Studies program. Designed for students who have completed some basic Islamic Studies on their own, this program will increase a student's knowledge in key fields such as Fiqh, Hadith, Arabic, Seerah and more.

Year 1 Level Courses:

Students who do not have a previous background in Islamic Studies may be required to take two additional summer courses offered remotely before the start of Year 1.

  • Noorani Qaida - Arabic letters and sounds

  • Taleem - ul - Haq - Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) for beginners

  • TJW101: Arabic Linguistic Enhancement/ Tajweed

  • ARB101/102: Fundamentals of Arabic

  • QAS101: Second Term - Stories of the Prophets through Arabic Medium

FOUNDATIONAL COURSES

  • AQD101: Aqida Tahawi - Intro to Theology

  • ADB101: Mannerisms in Islam (Akhlaaq and Adaab) taught through Hadith

  • FQH201: Hanafi Fiqh - Islamic Jurisprudence

  • HIS201: Seerah Pt. 1 - Life of Our Beloved Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa salam) - Mecca Period
